P. Sanders copyright New Year's 1908 Postcard Vintage / Antique
This is a highly sought-after Benjamin Franklin 1 cent green stamp from 1908 that was used on a New Year's 1909 postcard. The stamp is ungraded but has been circulated, adding to its historical significance. It was cancelled with a handstamp and originates from Wisconsin, United States.
The postcard is a rare 1908 card for the New Year of 1909. It is heavily embossed with ornate scrollwork, and features a hand airbrushed paint dusting in a gorgeous pink color with an almost unnoticeable green color for the top of the numbers. All corners are a bit blunted with the top right corner being creased. The copyright belongs to P. Sanders, New York ( NYC), 1908.
Stamp cancelled on December 30, 1908 in Wisconsin.
